What it does
Most funnels tell you a rate fell. This tells you which step, for which segment, worth how much, and what to do next. The last of those is the part a reporting tool cannot offer, because it has nothing to run inside your product.
- Entered, completed and dropped, for every step of a flow
- Filtered to a segment built from your own attributes, up to five conditions
- Split by an attribute, so the worst-hit segment surfaces without testing values one at a time
- Switched from a count of people to the plan value they represent
How it works
- Interactions are captured structurallyClicks, navigations and form submits are recorded as shapes: what kind of element, roughly where, what it is labelled. Values are masked in the browser before anything is sent.
- Steps are derived from the flow you authoredYou do not annotate your source code and you do not define events. The steps of a published flow are the steps the table counts.
- Segments and breakdowns composePick a segment and a breakdown together to ask how one group's drop-off splits by another attribute, and the selection lives in the URL so it can be sent to a colleague.
- The step becomes something to act onA step losing enough people surfaces as an insight with a control that opens a new flow at that exact step.
